MUFF WIGGLER:: View topic - Virtual pipe organ software? - Author Virtual pipe organ software? Mousegarden Hardly modular related I know, but I've just downloaded Hauptwerk, pipe organ simulator, and it's asking me to load Java Runtime, Net Frameworks on to my Mac, is this safe? I was told Java can be a security risk with Mac's gryfon1 I've used Hauptwerk on my Macs for years with zero issues. I think i remember that it's only used by/for the installer, but verify that.
I know it's been discussed a few times on the Hauptwerk forum. It's amazing software. Mousegarden gryfon1 wrote: I've used Hauptwerk on my Macs for years with zero issues. Thanks', I had a very prompt reply from Hauptwerk, amazing customer service! It's OK I can download the file from Apple, looking forward to trying it out! Mousegarden This is totally f.g awesome! Blown away by it!
I'm using the St Anne's free trial organ, but it's amazing, you can actually sit and feel the ambience of the church! And hear the blower!
I may buy it, but even the free version is more than enough for me. Bit tricky using it as a VST, it uses direct audio streaming, so I have to have Reaper open at the same time, so that threw me for a while, getting that working.
Gryfon1 Yup, a totally awesome piece of software. Great support, good community, some astounding instruments available.
I have the Father Isnard instrument from St. Maximin in France. There are some Silbermann and Schnitger organs, some historic Spanish instruments, and on through some very recent builds. The best of pastor troy vol 1 zip files. Trust me, if you can afford it you really want the advanced license.
FWIW, there's a decent Facebook group, and of course the Forum via the main Hauptwerk page. I've found some nice small-medium size modern Polish organs as free downloads thx to the FB page. Yes, great community, and yes again, I'm definitly going to have to get the full license. Page 1 of 1.
